Impacted by the path of the Cross and resurrection of Christ Jesus, Dili Immanuel Church (DIC) was pioneered in September 26th, 2022 towards proclaiming the love and hope in Christ to the people in every corner of Dili city.
Through experiencing Christ daily, DIC seeks to empower lives of many through the power of His Word and Christ-centered lifestyles that reveal the faith, hope and love in Christ.
All of us at DIC are works of grace currently in progress. We welcome you to come and join us in this amazing journey with Christ.
Bring a national movement of passionate people who carry the Great Commission as radical followers of our Lord Jesus Christ making disciples to all nations (Matthew 28:19).
We believe…
in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct…
One God , eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…
Our Lord Jesus Christ , God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory…
The Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit…
The Holy Spirit , by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ…
The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ…
The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
Understanding that Christ “loved the church and gave himself up for her” (Ephesians 5:25), Immanuel retains formal membership. We acknowledge formal membership as an important step in demonstrating our commitment to Jesus Christ.
All believers are members of the body of Christ and local church membership is the public acknowledgement of this spiritual reality. As followers of Christ, we are all “members of the household of God” (Ephesians 2:19), and it is our duty to play our roles as a member of His body. We become one healthy body when each member does its part well (1 Corinthians 12:20).
Dili Immanuel Church holds its members in high regard—they are expected to proclaim and reveal the gospel in anywhere their life happens. In a multi-cultural city, God, in his sovereignty, placed us among these people with a purpose. We pray to be faithful managers of the House of God.
